Spring is in the air and the outdoor ranges are drying up!! The boys and I got to spend a little time behind the trigger a couple of Sunday’s ago. We went down to the military and lever gun matches put on by the BMRPA at the range near Moffit. Had a grand time even if we didn’t hit much. Grub was top notch put out by Jim Vollmer. It was my sons first run at the lever gun match. He tipped over about a dozen critters with 3 rams being his highlight. I sure got soft over the winter. My neck and shoulders were a mess after the 100 or so rounds sent downrange. It doesn’t help being born a recoil wimp! Check out their website for the next scheduled matches.
