Services offered:

Cleaning rifles, handguns and some shotguns.  You can specify a general       field strip cleaning or a complete detail strip cleaning.  In the process, your firearm will be properly lubricated for immediate use or for storage.

Repairs of rifles, handguns and some shotguns.  If your firearm is not functioning as it should, troubleshooting will determine the issue and dictate the repair needed.  Most repairs will require new parts to be ordered and fitted.

Modifications such as expert scope mounting and bore sighting, new sights installed, trigger work, stock shortening and recoil pad installation, muzzle re-crowning, lengthening shotgun forcing cones and others can be preformed.  Double H Guns has on hand many Timney replacement triggers which may be a better choice for function and safety than reworking a factory trigger.

Sam’s specialty is 1911 handguns, along with Ruger Mark I’s, II’s III’s and IV’s, Thompson Center’s Contenders/Encores and others.  If you don’t have a good feeling after shooting a magazine with your 1911 or Ruger, bring it in and let us know your concerns.  More than likely, we can change things to match your level of expectation.  One of the best values for your 1911 is Sam’s Performance/Reliability Service Package.  During this service your 1911 will have over 30 areas checked and corrected so it functions as it should.  If you are not happy with your Ruger Mark series pistol, a correctly installed Volquartsen Accuracy Kit and headspace adjustment will make for a positive shooting experience.
